Breathe Ease

-> I think this product actually works! I have not had a chance to ride this mare much lately. Before I ordered this product, she coughed constantly when I loped her to the point that I could not even ride her. After 4 days on the supplement, I rode her and she only coughed twice. This seems too quick to be possible, so I don't know if she was just having a good day, or if this really works. She is 21, and has had a chronic cough for years brought on by dust and exercise.....

- I am feeding Breathe Ease to my 26 year old palomino for 2 1/2 months now. I have noticed that the quality of my horses hoofs have improved dramatically. His inside wall would crumble, no heel growth. He was shod last week and I can only say it must be the supplement. His breathing is doing well. - We boarded one of our horses at Dartmouth Riding Center this summer where it was pretty dusty and she developed a cough. The Vet tried an anti-inflammatory medication which only worked for a short time. Rather than try steroids, someone from Dartmouth recommended Breathe Ease, which we did. - I just finished placing my 3rd order for Breathe Ease and wanted to take a moment to share with you how your product has greatly improved the life of our horse. Princess is a 14 year old quarter horse who developed heaves/ COPD 4 years ago. Initially, it was very mild and was treated with steroids once/ year. The COPD became worse and the 'heaving' times lasted longer and longer. Just over a year ago she was heaving constantly and our daughter was no longer able to ride her. She lost weight and it was suggested to us to have her put down. Princess is a part of our family and the thought of that was unbearable. As a medical professional, I am aware of the long term side effects of steroids so I researched alternative methods and found Breathe Ease. We tried it (without steroids) and we were amazed at how effective it was. Within a 1 week time period we could see visible relief from the heaving and flared nostrils. The staff where we were boarding her did not feel that she would be able to work or be ridden due to her breathing problems. We moved her home last year thinking that she would be a pet and live out her life with us but not be ridden any longer. I am very happy to report that my daughter enjoys riding her just as much as Princess enjoys being ridden! She is able to canter without coughing, romps in the field like she is a young horse and is completely symptom free!

When our vet was here in the spring for her annual check up, she could barely detect any abnormalities in her lung sounds - she had a very faint wheeze in one lung audible only with a stethoscope. Based on

her history, the vet was expecting to hear more abnormalities consistent with the chronic changes of COPD.

- About eight years ago my mare developed a cough during the summer months. The Vet said she had allergies. Each spring and summer it got a little worse until all she could do was stand in her stall sweating and heaving. The Vet came and medicated her and we got through another year. Four years ago she had another episode and we were given Ventipulmin Syrup and a prescription for human inhalers. My wife found Breathe Ease on the internet and we ordered a one month supply. I gave my horse all of the medication and Breathe Ease for three weeks and started to make arrangements to have her put down. The fourth week she started to improve tremendously. I did not know what had made her suddenly improve, but canceled the Vet call. The Breathe Ease was gone and I did not reorder. The fifth week she started to relapse and I realized the Breathe Ease was the cause for her vast improvement. I contacted Michael at Equine-Gold and he got a 5 lbs container of Breathe Ease to me right away. Four years later my mare is still here with us. The mare has improved each year since. She will never be 100%, but I would have bet had I known about and given Breathe Ease to her when she first developed the cough she would be. I have been using your product for a paint horse I purchased five years ago. She is a fantastic horse, very willing, good learner and extremely athletic. The problem we encountered with her was that she coughed consistently at the lope. She was diagnosed with COPD (resulting in her difficulty catching her breath when worked at higher levels). We started her on steroids, however, I was nervous with the side affects. I read an artical in The Horse Journal that recommended your product for horses with Exercise Induced Cough. The Breathe Ease works extremely well, I use it with my older Quarter Horse mare who does the beginner/child lessons. We do have to stay with the BID use through the winter with the hay being less than optimal last season and indoor arena work. I was going to shift her back to 1x daily, but this has been such a wet miserable, moldy spring.... so I have not as yet. She is doing so well that she is less exercise intolerant and is taking a 9 yr old girl through her D Pony Club ratings. Not bad when your 20! She had never had breathing issues, but has always had runny eyes (allergy!) and last fall began having coughing fits.

I am a firm believer in the Chinese herbs as I have used them for my own pollen, allergy related breathing and 'damp' issues. Effective and they do not 'hype' you up like the chemical rx's do.

- “I just wanted to drop you a line on what a great product your Breathe Ease powder is. I agreed to take a horse as a companion to my younger horse Ace. I was told the horse had COPD, but all I had to do was wet his hay and he'd be fine. When they unloaded the horse at my home I couldn't believe how bad his breathing was. To say he was in respiratory distress is an understatement. You could hear his wheezing, he had the classic heave lines with his ribs showing and his breathing was so shallow and rapid that if I was breathing like that for 10 minutes I would pass out. I was told the horse had been like this for 8 years and nothing from the Vet seemed to help, if he had a really bad bout I was told to give him Ventipulmin. I called the Vet and he told me the same thing if he was really bad give him the Ventipulmin. I decided to do some research and see if I could find a better solution. I went on some horse forums on the Internet and saw where some people had used your product and it helped tremendously, but a Vet replied on the forum there was no documented proof that herbal products work for COPD. After seeing the Vets response I almost dismissed your product until I saw the article in Horse Journal where they had good results with your product. I decided to gamble and give it a try. I couldn't believe how well it worked! It took about 2 weeks on the product before I saw results. The first thing I noticed was his nostrils didn't seem as flared and he had a better appetite. He is now to the point if I compare his breathing to my healthy younger horse you can hardly tell the difference in there breathing, no more flared nostrils, his breathing is deep and slow his ribs aren't showing and the heave line is disappearing. This is a big beautiful Quarter Horse gelding who has improved so much I will be starting him under saddle again. When my Vet comes out I want him to look at this so he can help other clients with COPD. I will recommend your product to anyone with a COPD horse.
